A friend of mine, yes i still have one, expressed frustration with someone who kept telling him he was going to remove some scrap from his yard and never got around to actually doing it. My friend said that he wasn’t looking for words. He was looking for action.
Our dear leaders seem to have the opposite perspective: they are looking for words and actual actions don’t seem to register as being all that significant by comparison.
We have all heard of the pearl-clutching concern surrounding hate speech and so-called hate crimes. I’m puzzled. Are what in the olden days we used to call “crimes” such as rape, murder and theft kind of ok if they aren’t motivated by hate or some other negative emotion? It’s nothing personal. I’m just killing you because reasons. Oh, ok bro, now i understand. Please carry on.
The whole lookdown fiasco we all endured was a real violence done against vast populations of people all over the world. The lockdowns resulted in terrible deaths of despair, separations from loved ones, small and medium sized business destruction, and other damages too vast to begin to name. Then the coerced injections of fauci-knows-what which have helped not even one person, and instead demonstrably killed and disabled millions of healthy people.
And are our dear leaders upset about any of that? Noooooo! Those particular crimes weren’t motivated by hate! They were the loving kind done for the safety of those under their care and if they goofed here and there, well they are only mortal after all. they often forget where they left their car keys and stub their toes repeatedly on their own furniture so we shouldn’t really expect that much from them, now should we?
So now we are actually approaching a stage where businesses are going to be forced not only to divulge personal information from their security cameras and communications with their own customers, but they are to remain mum about it while they are conducting spying activities for their ever-watchful goobermint.
Of course, there were those who foresaw the direction our societies were going many decades ago. giving certain people power and allowing them to make decisions about where the production of the people would go has traditionally not worked that well except for those at the tippy-top of the power structure.
But even those who have become a bit jaded to all the loss of freedoms we are experiencing are finding the daily reports of this moral landslide well, disquieting, to put it delicately.
This fear our masters have of us saying mean things about them, taking over their souls to the point where they are going completely bat guano crazy for overhearing the private conversations of grandmothers and their grandchildren, does not seem like it has a very happy ending.
Of course, this would all be used for the general good of society though, as the bad actors amongst us, those who might consider committing a hate crime, as opposed to just common criminals who have more worthy motivations, could be culled weeded out from the taxcows good people. This sort of thing seems to be working out quite well in parts of asia and could be used as a model for the western world as well. After all, no authoritarian dictator wants to come in second best! Better to be on the cutting edge and this might explain the motivation behind what could be called the “judas law” where businesses will be forced to snitch and rat on their own customers.
Most of us are likely to just pour a stiff one and comply with these new rules as we have with every other joy-killing edict handed down from the hierarchy.
Some small percentage might resist, perhaps even to the point of self-injury, or perhaps we have collectively had enough and, rather than wait patiently for our weekly serving of bug drumsticks and maggot salad, will begin to learn to just say the word NO. It’s not so hard, everyone should try using this little word sometime. It is quite powerful or you could even say, “safe and effective”.
And if you happen to own a safe and effective manure spreader and a tractor, and have a few friends with their own fertilizing equipment, you might want to put a bit more emphasis on that little word, as our more energetic fellow patriots in europe have been practicing lately, to some good effect.
In any case, when it comes down the pipe, i hope there will be enough back-pressure to blow it back up the pipe, because that is clearly what needs to happen.
