It is very comforting to the soul one supposes . The thought of ones own moral superiority to those dreadful neckbeards running small businesses or worse yet working with their hands for goodness sake. The knowledge that you are the enlightened one who understands the concept of a woman’s need to be able to terminate a life vs the anguish of having to carry it to term and beyond, perhaps even to adulthood!.
Or the downtrodden masses of the world who have so little and need to be given a chance to begin life anew in a more prosperous land, in someone elses home who has too much in the first place, probably did nothing to earn it and is darned selfish anyway .
Or the need for the elimination of those awful guns which, come on, only the police or the military should have.
And why do you slobber and moan about taxes so much? Taxes should be a delight, not a burden or do you not realize the educated and the gifted among us know the best uses for a nations production? Whether and when to replace a bridge, or to build another indoctrination center, oops i mean educational facility? It is for the wise among us to decide these things, not let them occur naturally without our guidance!
You see, it is very comforting for the soul to be morally superior. all of ones actions are directed to improving things. lets create a world where the gifted ones rearrange things for greater sustainability and more equality for that lower subset of folks who are so hard of understanding.
And if someone is so dull as to question motives and go online and stir up the prolls and gum up the works well, perhaps someone has to die for the general good.
And so with this moral superiority of theirs, the far left as it is called is able to justify incredibly destructive ideas: destructive ideas specifically to life, freedoms, property ownership and self determination.
There is nothing within these people which causes them to wonder if the murder of an extremist or a preborn human or the confiscation of the property of an tired old man, is morally questionable. Anything goes when the framing of the argument is correct.
I told my son in a phone call last night of a dream i had in which i found myself in the usa, standing beside a chainlink fence. A large military vehicle was backing up and would have backed over me had i not stepped aside. I noticed there were no backup alarms as is common with construction equipment.
I was there to observe the arrival of a new airforce 1 jet. It was a great occasion! Maybe the greatest occasion ever! So great an occasion and so great the plane that the banks of the city were all shut down just temporarily… in honor of the occasion. The jet was gargantuan, dwarfing the entire downtown core. And i had a glimpse of Mr Donald Trump and he had a glimpse of me. He was looking down at me from quite a height and the expression on his face was one of confusion or puzzlement, not fear but kind of like, are you on my side or not?
I related all this to my son who began laughing. He said that closing the banks “in honor of the arrival of this new plane” was an interesting way to frame the closure of the banks, which likely was in fact the result of the purchase of this new plane. I had not picked up on that aspect of the dream myself!
So you see, it is all about the framing of the argument. Frame the argument correctly and everything the party of love wants to justify, it can justify. and it can villify anyone who stands in its way, also using the correct framing of the argument. Surely you can not be serious, opposing our exciting new ai data center? Such a boon for the human condition?
Hermann Goring, the german propagandist fully understood the power of the corrrect framing of the argument. during the nuremburg trials he said that….“Naturally, the common people don’t want war … but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.“
