One of the biggest challenges we face is responding to the term conspiracy theorist. Whenever we present evidence to the contrary of the mainstream’s approach we are labeled thusly and the conversation is immediately shut down and any further evidence we present only goes to support the idea that we are babbling on about our latest beloved conspiracy theory. This simple term has been all too effective!
Is there any way around this problem so that people might possibly keep an open mind long enough to consider new evidence and what it may mean to themselves personally?
Perhaps the best approach to this sort of conversational shutdown is to ask a simple question. One that might be asked is whether or not they believe that people ever get together and cooperate to achieve a given objective of some sort?
We see people cooperating every day to perform given tasks that would be more difficult to perform on their own and after all nearly every fairly sizable business you can name consists of numerous people working together to achieve an objective and when this cooperation ceases the business or the organization inevitably fails.
So is it such a great stretch to consider the possibility that leaders of large businesses might possibly work together to achieve a common objective as well? The trilateral commission, the bilderberg group, the world economic forum and the club of rome are real organizations which have existed for decades. And all some of us are really daring to suggest is that the love of financial gain has overtaken the love of humanity and is producing a catastrophic result on the people unfortunate enough to be born beneath these power pyramids.
Another possible approach is to point out that there is really a crime called conspiracy to commit murder! It is a real criminal offense and you can be charged with it so it shouldn’t be such a leap of faith to consider the possibility that there may be such a thing going on somewhere as conspiracy to commit mass or even global mass murder. And if people have nothing better to do what’s wrong with considering how these conspiracies might be operating?
So being an actual conspiracy theorist does not necessarily equate with being a lunatic or some sort of imbecile.
Some of us are blessed with the with the spiritual gift of suspicion and the events of the last 3 years have proven many of these suspicions to be directly over the target. However, when someone pulls this label out of their… hat they really are seeking to shut down the conversation and perhaps it’s best to recognize this fact and simply walk away. A lot of people do not want to deal with any kind of thing which might upset their precious status quo. They just want things to go on in the way they are going on at the moment. They’re satisfied with their normal lives and they do not want to consider the fact that they should be fighting for a better world or anything like that.
They are happy just to carry on with what they’re doing, living their slow moving lives, going home watching sports while downing an ale or two, and forgetting about the problems of the world. It’s actually an understandable respond to the many political indigestions of the day.
As someone has sagely observed: “sure there’s apathy but who really cares?”
It is frustrating to realize that you may be the only one for a hundred miles around yourself who actually cares about the direction the world is going enough to do something about it and perhaps it’s going to take some very serious events in order to jar people out of their complacency. I hope when this happens they will remember some of the conspiracy theorists who tried to shake that complacency before they left the comforts they were enjoying and found themselves global citizens in the brave new world being thrust upon us.
Recently i’ve been pointing out in personal conversations that, as a firewood retailer, if i could coerce, bribe or blackmail some official in government to implement a law that forced everyone in the yukon to buy their firewood from my business, what kind of business could i build ? Is this sort of coercion happening anywhere in the world do you suppose? Ya think??? Maybe??
