What if I were to tell you that our money today is nothing more than fairy dust? Would you believe me? Do you place a lot of value in your money purse these days or whatever you carry it around in? Do you ascribe a lot of value to that number on your bank statement? If you do, you may be under a state of deluded delusion.

There are certain people and very few of them who have the legal authority to print money. Imagine you open your bank account online and you go through the menu. And one of the items is “create money” and you click it, and you type in $100000, and you hit enter and instantly, your balance rises by a cool $100000. You close the lid of your laptop and head out and buy some things. You buy this, you buy that, basically have a great time boosting the economy and you come home. Your balance has dropped a little bit. So you just replenish it through the same mechanism and you ad an extra 100000 there and you are good to go again.
There are people with this ability and i think some of their last names start with an R and end with kid or something? Now, wouldn’t it be nice if we all had this gift and not just them? NO, it wouldn’t! That would obviously dissolve the value of what we refer to as money entirely until it ceased to have any buying power whatsoever in a very short time. But because there’s only a few people with that ability it kind of works for now but the same result will inevitably occur. All forms of fiat money throughout history have been devalued to ZERO. Those in control of the money supply simply cannot help themselves.
Ideally, the money supply could be raised or lowered with the requirements of civilization. If you had a larger group of people and more resources available, you could tinker with the supply; you could create enough money to keep up with a rising population, the rising production of goods and services and keep inflation at a level of 0%. But this is not what the money printers desire. 2 percent inflation is what they claim to be aiming at. Why not zero percent?

Now who would dare to suggest that they desire to continually create more money for their friends and their own personal interests. I mean the temptation must be fantastic. And so because human nature is what it is this right to print money is being abused . In an interview with Bill Holter on Usawatchdog.com he suggested, the entire world has become a Banana Republic! Once the GDP or gross domestic annual product is eclipsed by your debt even the United States is officially a banana republic. I believe it’s 130% debt to GDP, and likelky the actual total is even worse.. It used to be taught that when a nation reached a 100% GDP debt to GDP that nation could be considered a Banana Republic. Now the United States is at 130%. Canada is merching along in lockstep with the latest Chile con Carney Government-run by a banker who you would think would be a little better at banking than the drama teacher was and yet here we have the latest budget where we’re going to increase the national debt by 60 or 80 billions more from what it already is.
And so the ferry dust makers are busy producing more ferry dust and our currency is quietly collapsing.
And what is the end result going to look like when people will not be interested in accepting your money and they will prefer to hang on to the resources that they own?
I’ve experienced this feeling myself as I run a small business in the Yukon. And it’s very difficult for me to build up a supply of inventory which I actually like having and prefer to hold instead of cash. It’s better for me to have products on my yard that people desire than it is to have a stack of bills somewhere or in the bank because that stack of bills or that money in the bank is losing its buying power by the day whereas my real physical products are not.
Which would you prefer to own? A decreasing asset or one that maintains it’s value if you were in business?
We may yet see the day where business owners figure out they are better off with their physical assets than they are with that paper or plastic you are offering them!

For all these reasons, some extremely crazy people have decided to learn how to produce their own food, firewood and homes; how to hunt fish and gather the wild berries and the crops that are out there growing naturally in nature. All these things are enjoyable activities all by themselves, and if you are able to pick up some skills before the fairy dust people decide to turn off the fairy dust, you’ll be better off in the meantime and a little bit better prepared for that event as well! Be well and prosper and thanks for reading this little note of mine!
