the bullsmiths.
There used to be kind of a fun event where people would gather and share what was called “yarns” or short stories which were obviously “stretchers” or “embellished” versions of what actually took place. Some of course were wholly fabricated from random gusts of wind and bug feathers.

One example which i thought was quite cute and somehow stuck in my memory was about the pioneer who told of a day in the dirty thirties when the wind got up to quite a gale. So strong was the wind that the dirt was all blown away from the pasture! The next morning all that was left were the gopher holes which were sticking up all over the place. Amazing.
Of course, there are different layers and levels of bullsmithing. In the above example, no one would actually believe the story as it was obviously constructed just for the humor factor. But from there we can work our way up in the layers of liars through the stretchers told by some salespeople on up the ladder to the majority of our politicians, and into the lawyering arena, where the best of the best will be the most sought out for their ability to build an argument based on dinosaur flatulence and things of this nature.
And then we have the propagandists. Those intrepid fabricators of questionable versions of reality. These people are the creme de le creme of the bullsmiths. I do not believe that the majority or even a minor minority actually grasp how valuable the bullsmiths are to the largest corporations and the moneyed class. Imagine the power of the printed word to influence the buying habits of the public for example. If you or i were to own the associated press and had influence over what was printed and shouted from television news pulpits all over the world, imagine the hysteria we could create in order to sell shiploads of toilet paper or vacinations for the prevention of herpes-shingles-whooping-diarhea! Can you imagine the profits flowing into the digital wallets of the owners of the corporations producing these wondrous products? I confess i can not.
Add to that, the potential of coercing, bribing and blackmailing politicians of countries all over the world in order to create regulations favoring the businesses you own! Truly the power of skilled bullsmiths is stunning. No wonder they are in demand! However, a dark sky is gathering even for the bullsmiths and that is the coming power of AI, and by that i am not referring to artificial insemination, but rather something quite similar. With AI at the disposal of us all, at least the peon version, arguments fully satisfying to the creator will be created in seconds, complete with convincing videos and photos, generated solely to support the argument of the robotic bullsmith. It is going to be amazing! We might see whales flying through our living rooms before this is finished. Watch out for that blue one!!!
Thing is, determining the truth of what is being presented will become a job for the likes of the brightest of minds. Most of us will give up in despair, one might expect, much as the more cleverer have already done when it comes to the subject of the MSM: (mainly s*** media) A statistic i just read claimed that only 28 percent of the people currently believe the MSM is a reliable source of factual information. I found this rather shocking! I would have guessed that only the hard of understanding would be buying what they are selling after the covidian festival of the insane. Perhaps the shots have dulled the minds of some. Anyway, it is clear that many of us relegate nearly everything we hear, see and smell to the category of “suspect”. This is rather sad as we need to make decisions based on reality, else the results of our choices veer us even closer to the void.

What if AI tells you that the botched toenail you created indicates you may have cancer of the rectum and suggests MAID for a possible solution to a future of compaction and violent gaseous explosions? Will you buy the advice? Some will. Some already have! We have all made decisions which were suboptimal because we believed what we were being told, somewhat like the girl in “Wrongully accused” whom Leslie Nielson fed a bunch of one-liner pickup lines in a row. She fell for it like a starving monkey given a fake key to a banana factory. And if making bad decisions didn’t have bad real life consequences it would be no biggie, but consequences are all too real so factual information truly is key.
My brother thinks the goal of all the deceit is to get us to the place where we believe absolutely nothing we see and hear. He may have something there, but i’m not sure if he is right or wrong about this… Maybe he is just practicing his bullsmithing on me……. Wait….. Oh no! They got me!
